Now its 38th year, Maple Street has not only served the more than 2000 families directly over the years, it has become a neighborhood institution recognized by local businesses, visitors to the park, and longtime residents.

Maple Street maintains a strong connection to, and involvement in, the community and has hosted a multitude of community events, from community cape-making, literacy events based on books such as If you Give a Mouse a Cookie, community storytelling, a widely attended school diversity conference, and pop up artisan fairs and restaurants. The school will only deepen these connections and strengthen its positive community impact with a second location.
